Princess of Wales, Princess Kate, 42, has shared about her journey battling cancer, which was complicated, scary and unpredictable because recently, after being diagnosed, I recovered once again…
Princess Kate of Wales has completed chemotherapy and said she will focus on her cancer recovery.
In a video posted on September 9, Princess Kate said she was relieved that the preventative chemotherapy process was over after an “extremely difficult” and “scary” 9 months for her and her family, The Guardian reported.
She added that the road to full recovery is still very long and there are many unknowns ahead. Princess Kate said she will do everything she can to avoid getting cancer. Normally, a patient after cancer treatment needs to be monitored and if no cancer cells are detected after 5 years, then they can be officially declared cured.

“The process of having cancer also helps you face your own weaknesses that you never thought about before, along with a new perspective on everything,” the royal concubine shared.
“The past has reminded me and William (Kate’s husband) to reflect and be grateful for the simple but important things in life that many of us often take for granted. Simply loving and being loved,” she added.

Princess Kate, 42, was hospitalized for two weeks in January after abdominal surgery. Two months later, she announced she had cancer. Her office, Kensington Palace, said chemotherapy began in February and did not specify what type of cancer she had.
Princess Kate’s openness about her cancer diagnosis and treatment, as well as frankly sharing her feelings with her family, has been welcomed by many experts in the cancer field. There has been speculation that Kate could take on important roles in cancer charities or research organisations.
Ms. Kate said she has started working from home and will be taking part in some light outdoor activities in the later months of this year.
