Late actor Ryan O’Neal‘s stunning $2.6 million beachfront Malibu home—which he once shared with longtime love Farrah Fawcett—was destroyed in the deadly California wildfires, his daughter, Tatum O’Neal, has revealed.
O’Neal, 61, who is herself a successful actress and won an Oscar at the age of 10 for her role in “Paper Moon,” which she starred in with her father, shared the devastating update in a series of posts on Threads. She revealed that the property is “gone” and shared video footage confirming that the stunning home was reduced to little more than a pile of rubble.
“It’s the saddest ever so sad I could cry. My father’s house is gone Malibu gone,” she wrote, adding in a second post: ““Gone gone gone gone. It’s so scary. I am so freaking sad.”
Tatum, whose father passed away in December 2023, is one of many celebrities impacted by the ongoing wildfires.
Paris Hilton recently revealed she watched in horror as her $8.4 million property “burn to the ground on live TV,” while others, including Anthony Hopkins, Anna Faris, John Goodman, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, and Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, have also lost their homes to the devastating blazes.
The Palisades Fire, which has thus far burned through more than 23,000 acres and is currently at just 14% containment, was the first of seven wildfires that broke out in the Los Angeles area, beginning Jan. 7.
At the time of writing, three are yet to be fully contained, according to Cal Fire. Meanwhile, Fox News reports that 24 people have so far lost their lives in the blazes.

Surrounded by multimillion-dollar properties on an exclusive stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway, the coastal abode offered three bedrooms and three baths across 2,344 square feet.
The 1952-era build included a fireplace and sat on a compact 6,764-square-foot lot, situated on the sand, steps from the water.
The back of the abode appeared to have showcased two-story glass walls overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with multiple decks boasting waterfront views.

The property was O’Neal’s primary residence until his death from congestive heart failure. It was also where he lived with Fawcett until her passing in 2009. Although the two never married, they were romantically involved for 17 years and had a child together, Redmond O’Neal, born in 1985.
Their decades-long, on-again, off-again relationship first sparked in 1979 and ended in 1997, but the two shared a lifelong “bond,” he once shared. He was said to have remained by Fawcett’s side after her cancer diagnosis in 2006 until her death in 2009 at the age of 62. He told People magazine after her death, “I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much.”
O’Neal is understood to have been buried next to his longtime love at Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park & Mortuary in Los Angeles, according to Deadline.
The two were known to have had a volatile relationship that included “blow-out fights.”
