Eva Longoria fought back tears in an emotional video she shared on Instagram for her 10 million followers.

The Desperate Housewives star, 49, revealed she evacuated from her home after receiving a warning, and were now hosting several other friends fleeing from the fire.

‘It’s been a crazy week. Devastating for so many people. So many friends who’ve lost a lot… homes. I know it’s not things, it’s memories, things that people have worked really hard for,’ she said.

‘Anyways, we decided to evacuate ’cause we were under a warning, and then we kept getting an alarm. We have many friends at my house who had to evacuate from other areas so my house is full.

‘I know a lot of people weren’t so lucky. We’ve donated clothes, we literally emptied out my pantry to take down to all of the places that are accepting donations.’

She then revealed that she will be matching the donations made to the organization This is About Humanity up to $50,000 for frontline essential workers and families impacted by the fires.

Eva also mentioned that now is not the time to analyze all the stuff on social media about what went wrong.

‘LA is strong, everybody has been so helpful in the communities all over from Altadena to Pasadena to the Pacific Palisades. Everybody is on the street. Everybody is helping. People are coming together in beautiful ways.

‘It’s beautiful to watch,’ she gushed.

She concluded by thanking the fire fighters and first responders for their tireless efforts to put out the many fires burning around Los Angeles County.

‘God Bless all the fire fighters putting their lives on the line to save our lives and our homes and to everybody helping. Thank you,’ she concluded.

In the caption of the post, Eva tagged This is About Humanity’s account.

‘My heart breaks for the City of LA and the devastating fires that have affected so many lives. I’m personally matching $50k to @thisisabouthumanity’s efforts to support frontline essential workers, farm workers, day laborers and families impacted by these wildfires, she wrote.

‘I hope we can come together and support these resilient members of our community. Share, repost or donate if you can. Link in bio❤️

The Palisades fire started on Tuesday morning and the Eaton fire in Pasadena began not long after.

The Desperate Housewives star, 49, said she wanted to give a little update

‘it’s been a crazy week, devastating for so many people, so many friends who’ve lost a lot, and its not things, it’s just memories and things people have worked very hard for,’ she said

‘We decided to evacuate,’ she said, revealing that she had many friends who had evacuated from their home to her, adding that she knows a lot of people weren’t so lucky.

More than 180,000 people in Los Angeles have been evacuated, a modest estimate of 10,000 structures have been damaged or destroyed and at least 10 people have lost their lives.

The fires were sparked by the Santa Ana winds, which saw gusts of up to 80 to 100mph on Tuesday and Wednesday as fire fighters tried to get a handle on the blazes.

Entire neighborhoods in Pacific Palisades and Altadena have been wiped off the map due to the blazes.

The Eaton Fire is 14,117 acres and 27% contained, while the Palisades Fire is 23,707 acres and only 11% contained, according to Cal Fire. A blaze in the West Hills area, named the Kenneth Fire, has also been completely contained.

Many celebrities have seen their multi-million dollar mansions razed to the ground.
