In a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, Saturday Night Live alum and Staten Island son Pete Davidson addressed the renovation plan of a Staten Island ferry boat he purchase with one-time friend and SNL star, Colin Jost, who also hails from Staten Island.

The “Butkis” star says plans are underway to renovate the Staten Island ferry he purchsed with Jost for a whopping $280,000 more than two years go, telling fans that there is, in fact, an “in-depth plan.”

According to MSN.com, the renovation has been stalled by Davidson’s personal life.

“We do have, believe it or not, an in-depth plan,” Davidson said in the interview. “Every day, I get asked about this f***ing boat, and we’re raising the funds. We’re going to do a floor at a time. There’s a full plan in motion, and meanwhile, people are renting it out.”

The decommissioned Staten Island ferry was the setting a Tommy Hilfiger fashion show in September, attended by Colin Jost but not Davidson. The ferry was also the setting for “Steamboat Willie.”

The renovation has faced major delays with Davidson’s personal life and rehab stints being part of the reason. According to the U.S. Sun, Colin, 42, and Pete, 30, have stopped speaking and it’s gotten to the point that the former has refused to even be at the famed 30 Rock together, where Saturday Night Live is taped.

“Something big happened, and Colin is now refusing to be in the same building, let alone the same room as Pete. Colin doesn’t want to be associated with Pete.” An insider shared that Colin doesn’t even want to be at the famed 30 Rock with Pete.

Despite his personal challenges, “The King of Staten Island” star remains focused on the ferry renovation and has leaned on close friends — comedian John Mulaney, Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels, and musician Machine Gun Kelly — for support.

“I watched [Mulaney] as he took it on the chin a couple of years ago and had to completely revamp his life,” Davidson said.
