The incident took place around 2:30 am, and Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery.
•“There was an attempted burglary at Saif Ali Khan’s residence. He is currently in the hospital undergoing surgery,” read a statement from the actor’s public relations team. They urged fans and the media to remain patient, stating that the matter is under police investigation and updates would be provided as they become available.
•A police official revealed that an unidentified intruder broke into the actor’s residence and got into a scuffle with him. Some family members were present at the time. Khan suffered knife injuries but is reportedly out of danger.
